The newer course at Nordcenter, the Benz, designed by the American Bradford Benz, was completed in 1993. With its park-like setting, it is in many respects an alternative to the Fream course.
The Benz course offers broad fairways, large greens and a beautiful scenery. In addition to strategically placed bunkers, the numerous grass bunkers and large woodland ponds add to the park-like and friendly character of the course. Many of the greens are located in the middle of an undulating area. The entire course is set in forest upland, where the differences of elevation are much smaller than on the Fream course.
The Benz course is a true club course, where you can have a good round of golf, even with a few mistakes. For a top result, patience and precision is, however, required. Hardly anyone who has played the course has failed to be taken in by its varied and beautiful fairways. The Benz has been called one of the most pleasant golf courses in Finland.
