Conçu en 2006, le deuxième parcours porte la signature de l’architecte Michael Hurdzan, père de certains des meilleurs parcours d’Amérique du Nord et conférencier international sur le thème de l’impact environnemental du golf. La collaboration s’est faite avec Dana Fry. C’était la première fois qu’il concevait un parcours en Europe, et il a mis sa philosophie au service de l’harmonisation du paysage naturel intact avec le parcours. L’intention n’était pas d’égaler l’Allianz Course de Trent Jones Sr., plus mature, mais plutôt de le compléter par un parcours ouvert relativement plat où les étangs et les bunkers construits sont utilisés comme principaux obstacles.
